Capital Projects Feasibility Programme (CPFP)

An incentive of up to R8million in grant funding from the DTI for feasibility studies. The programme supports feasibility studies of large capital-intensive projects where South African goods and services will be utilised in the bankable feasibility and implementation stages.

For who? South African companies with early stage (post pre-feasibility) projects, located outside of South Africa’s borders
For what? International large capital-intensive projects where South African goods and services will be utilised
What?
  1. Develop, prepare and submit application (including bankable business plan and financial models where required)
  2. Application facilitation and management
  3. Claim preparation, submission, facilitation and drawdown
Funder and type DTI – Grant Fund (rebate)
Funds available Up to R8million per project
My contribution? Between 30%-50% of project costs determined by a scoring system and types of suppliers supported in the programme
Investment required? POA
B-BBEE level required? 1-8
